适用范围
本标准规定与数字微波无线接力系统中所用的自适应均衡器有关的测量方法。这些测量是用来表征具有选择性衰落时系统均衡器的特性的，但在没有自适应均衡器的系统中也可进行这些测量。
考虑到那些因使用频域和/或时域均衡器而特别受影响的系统性能，对系统进行测量的结果用所谓的特征曲线来表示。附加测量提供了表征系统性能的其它手段。
