【摘要】:ThispartofISO14531specifiesthephysicalpropertiesandmechanical-performancerequirementsforfull-end-load-resistantmechanicalfittingsforuseintheconnectionofcrosslinkedpolyethylene(PE-X)pipesconformingtoISO14531-1andintheconstructionoftransitionassembliesforjoiningPE-Xpipestometalpipeshavingplainspigot,screwthread,compressionsocketandflangeterminations.Inaddition,itlaysdowndimensionalrequirementsandspecifiessomegeneralmaterialproperties(includingchemicalresistance)togetherwithaclassificationschemeforPE-Xfittingmaterialsproducedintheformofpipe.ThispartofISO14531,whenusedinconjunctionwiththeotherpartsofISO14531,providesthebasisforthedesign,manufactureandinstallationofPE-Xpipingsystems(PE-Xpipes,PE-Xfusionfittingsandmechanicalfittings)forthesupplyofcategoryDandcategoryEhydrocarbon-basedfuels(seeISO13623)ata)maximumoperatingpressures(MOPs)uptoandincluding16bar1)andb)amaximumoperatingtemperatureof+60°Candc)aminimumoperatingtemperatureof1)?50°C;2)?35°C;3)?20°C.ConformitytothispartofISO14531-3ofmechanicalfittingsproducedinaccordancewithISO10838-1,ISO10838-2orISO10838-3maybeclaimedsubjecttothesatisfactoryconclusionofthetestslistedin5.6andanend-userestrictiononoperatingtemperaturestothetemperaturerange?20°Cto+40°C.NOTEItisrecognizedthatmechanicalfittingsconformingtoISO10838-1,ISO10838-2orISO10838-3arelimitedtoamaximumoperatingtemperatureof40°C.ProvisionismadeinISO14531-4fortheuseonarestricted-temperaturebasisofISO10838fittingsconformingto5.6inconjunctionwithPE-XpipesconformingtoISO14531-1.Thefittingmanufacturer'stechnicalfileshouldalsobeconsultedforrelevantsupportinginformation.Forinstallationpurposes,thispartofISO14531providesforthejointingofmechanicalfittingstoPE-Xpipeswithinthetemperaturerange?5°Cto+40°C.
