【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsand/ormeasurestoremovethehazardsandlimittherisksongeneralpurposenumericallycontrolledturningmachinesandturningcentreswhicharedesignedprimarilytoworkcoldmetalwithnoaccesstothework-zoneduringmachiningasdefinedin3.1and3.2andhereafterreferredtoas"machines".Thisstandardcoversthesignificanthazards,listedinclause4.Thisstandardappliesto:—numericallycontrolledhorizontalspindleturningmachinesandturningcentreswithdistancebetweencentres(BC)upto2000mmwhicharedesignedtobeequippedwithworkpiececlampingdevicesupto500mmoutsidediameter;—numericallycontrolledverticalturningmachines,invertedspindleturningmachinesincludingpickupmachinesandturningcentreswhicharedesignedtobeequippedwithworkpiececlampingdeviceupto500mmoutsidediameter.LargermachinesmaycomplywiththisstandardorshallcomplywithEN12478:2000.Thestandardalsoappliestoancillarydevices,e.g.tools,chucks,workpiecehandlingdevicesandswarfhandlingequipmentwhichareintegraltothemachine.Whereadditionalprocessesareinvolved,thisstandardcanbetakenasabasis(seealsobibliographyannex).Thisstandardalsoappliestomachineswhichareintegratedintoanautomaticproductionlineorturningcellwherethehazardsandrisksarisingarecomparabletothoseofmachinesworkingseparately.ThisEuropeanStandardapplyforautomaticsinglespindleturningmachinesbutdoesnotapplytoautomaticmultispindleturningmachineswhicharedealtwithinprEN13788:1999.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytoNCturningmachineswithmachiningfacilitiesundermanualcontrolwhicharedealtwithinEN12840:2000.Thisstandardappliestomachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofthisstandard.
