【摘要】:Thisequipmentmaybeusedtobringaboutthechangesinappearanceandtextureonthesurfaceofpilefloorcoveringcausedbymechanicalaction.1.1Thispracticedescribestheequipmentandoperationofthehexapodtumbledrumtesterfortestingpilefloorcoveringtoproducechangesinappearanceandcolorduetochangesinsurfacestructurebymechanicalactiontester.1.2Thispracticeisapplicableforuseintestingunusedpilefloorcoveringofalltypes.Itisnotapplicableforuseintestingusedpileyarnfloorcoverings.1.3Thispracticemaybeusedbymutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandsuppliertosetpurchasingspecifications.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesineachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththispractice.Incaseofrefereedecisions,theSIunitsshallprevail.1.5Thispracticedoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthispracticetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
