【摘要】:1.1Thisguidedescribesprotocolsthatcanbeusedtomeasurethestrengthoftheadhesivebondthatdevelopsbetweenacellandasurfaceaswellastheforcerequiredtodetachcellsthathaveadheredtoasubstrate.Controllingtheinteractionsofmammaliancellswithsurfacesisfundamentaltothedevelopmentofsafeandeffectivemedicalproducts.Thisguidedoesnotcovermethodsforcharacterizingsurfaces.Theinformationgeneratedbythesemethodscanbeusedtoobtainquantitativemeasuresofthesusceptibilityofsurfacestocellattachmentaswellasmeasuresoftheadhesionofcellstoasurface.Thisguidealsohighlightstheimportanceofcellculturehistoryandinfluencesofcelltype.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
