【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheequipmentandproceduresfordeterminingtheshorttermwaterabsorptionofpreformedpipeinsulationbypartialimmersioninwater.Itisapplicabletothermalinsulatingproducts.NOTEItisintendedtosimulatethewaterabsorptioncausedbyexposuretorainfor24hduringproductinstallation.Ifthepipeinsulationiscutfromaflatproduct,thentheshorttermwaterabsorptionbypartialimmersioncanbeobtainedfromtestscarriedoutontheflatproductwithsimilarpropertiesinaccordancewithEN1609,providingthetestiscarriedoutinthedirectiongivingthehighestwateruptake.
